Volleyball Recap: Corner Canyon Chargers vs. Mountain Ridge Sentinels

After flying high against Bingham last Thursday, Corner Canyon came back down to earth. The Corner Canyon Chargers fell 3-1 to the Mountain Ridge Sentinels on Tuesday. The Chargers' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Corner Canyon started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-21, 25-16, 25-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Corner Canyon is on the road again on Tuesday to play Herriman at 6:00 p.m. After both having extra time off, Mountain Ridge and Copper Hills will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
