Flag Football Game Preview: Bryant Hurricanes vs. Mary G. Montgomery Vikings

The Bryant Hurricanes will head out to square off against the Mary G. Montgomery Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Mary G. Montgomery's offense is going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Bryant hadn't allowed a single point the last four times they've hit the field. The Hurricanes' defense stepped up to hand Davidson a 45-0 shutout on Tuesday. Considering the Hurricanes have won five contests by more than 34 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Mary G. Montgomery had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 27-0 win over the Hornets. The Vikings pushed the score to 20-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Hornets had little chance of recovering from.

Mary G. Montgomery's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Bryant, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Everything came up roses for Bryant against Mary G. Montgomery in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 40-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Hurricanes since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
