Baseball Recap: Maumelle Charter Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Maumelle Charter's offense. They lost 14-0 to the St. Joseph Bulldogs on Tuesday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Falcons' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Maumelle Charter's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-9-1. As for St. Joseph, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

Looking ahead, Maumelle Charter will head out to face off against Warren at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Joseph, they will be playing at home against Episcopal at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Wildcats have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
