Basketball Game Preview: Nemaha Central Thunder vs. St. Marys Bears

The Nemaha Central Thunder are taking a road trip to take on the St. Marys Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Nemaha Central beat Silver Lake 57-53.

Meanwhile, St. Marys made easy work of Holton on Friday and carried off a 66-40 win. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

St. Marys' victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Nemaha Central, their win bumped their record up to 14-1.

Nemaha Central was able to grind out a solid victory over St. Marys in their previous matchup back in January, winning 53-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Nemaha Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
