Hazel Park extended their winning streak to three on Wednesday, bumping them up to 6-5. Everything went their way against the Fitzgerald Spartans as they made off with a 14-4 win. Considering the Vikings have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Austin Small was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played. Josh Wilkowski was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

As for Fitzgerald, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. On the bright side, the four- run performance marked their highest-scoring contest to date.

On Fitzgerald's side, Dexter Garda made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double. Calin Toland also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hazel Park beat Fitzgerald by a score of 18-0 on Thursday.
