Baseball Recap: Tocoi Creek Comes Up Short

Tocoi Creek and Buchholz squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Tocoi Creek had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 4-2. The Toros haven't had much luck with the Bobcats recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Tocoi Creek saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Collins, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

Tocoi Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Buchholz, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.
