Basketball Recap: Abbott Takes Down Cherokee in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Abbott rose to the challenge on Monday. They snuck past the Cherokee Indians with a 44-39 win. This was payback for the Panthers, who suffered a 53-48 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Abbott is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Cherokee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-7.

As of now, neither Abbott nor Cherokee have any future games scheduled.
