Baseball Recap: Andover's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Andover suffered their closest defeat since April 29, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors by a score of 6-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Warriors of the 7-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Chris Jaillet was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. Another player making a difference was Ryan Jaillet, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Andover's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Lincoln-Sudbury, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-7.

Coming up, Andover will challenge Shrewsbury at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lincoln-Sudbury does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
