Preview: Keefe Tech Broncos vs. Blue Hills RVT Warriors
The Keefe Tech Broncos will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Blue Hills RVT Warriors at 5:30 p.m. Keefe Tech has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Even though Keefe Tech has not done well against Assabet Valley RVT recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Keefe Tech enjoyed a cozy 61-44 victory over Assabet Valley RVT. Keefe Tech pushed the score to 52-30 by the end of the third, a deficit Assabet Valley RVT cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Keefe Tech to victory, but perhaps none more so than George Anastos, who scored 23 points. Anastos continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Logan Greenlaw, who scored 18 points.
Meanwhile, Blue Hills RVT unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 54-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Norton.
Keefe Tech's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-7. As for Blue Hills RVT, their defeat ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-2.
