Baseball Recap: Windsor Wizards vs. George Washington Patriots

It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Windsor ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the George Washington Patriots 7-6. The victory was nothing new for the Wizards as they're now sitting on four straight.

Ethan Fillinger made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 4.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one double. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
