Basketball Recap: Odessa Drops Highest Score of Season Against Mckean

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Odessa). They strolled past the McKean Highlanders with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 52-33. The Ducks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Highlanders, too.

Despite the loss, McKean still got an impressive performance from Jasmine Sessoms, who went 9 of 21 on her way to 20 points and three steals.

Odessa's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-9. As for McKean, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Odessa will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Wilmington Charter at 12:00 p.m. McKean has already played their next matchup (against Polytech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
