The Purcell Dragons will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Washington Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Tuesday, Purcell got the win against Pauls Valley by a conclusive 13-1. That's two games straight that Purcell has won by exactly 12 runs.

Bryce Blair made a splash no matter where he played. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Blair has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive pitching appearances. Blair was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Cole Smedley was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Boston Knowles, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Meanwhile, Washington entered their tilt with Lindsay with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Leopards a 10-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Tristin Babbitt looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched.

On the hitting side, Washington got a massive performance out of Marlon Moore, who went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base. Easton Berglan was another key contributor, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

Purcell pushed their record up to 16-18 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Washington, their record is now 22-4.
