The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Maria Carrillo in their matchups with Windsor: they've now lost six in a row.
Maria Carrillo's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Nathan Dipman, who scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Dipman is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Hunt, who scored nine points.
Maria Carrillo's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Windsor, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.
Maria Carrillo will head out on the road to square off against Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Montgomery is on a five-game streak of home wins, Maria Carrillo a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Windsor will take on Santa Rosa at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Rosa and Windsor are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
