Basketball Preview: Richton Rebels vs. Laurel Golden Tornadoes        
        
		
             The Richton Rebels will be taking part in a tournament against the Laurel Golden Tornadoes  at 6:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Richton is coming into the  game hot, having won their last three games.
 Last Thursday, Richton took their  match  with ease, bagging  a  57-19 win over St. Andrew's Episcopal. The Rebels have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four  contests by 33  points or more this season.
  Rakhiya Moody continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  almost  dropping  a double-double on 19 points and nine  steals. Another player making a difference was  Nylah Robins, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on ten  rebounds and nine  steals.
 Richton  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 32  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive rebounds in 12 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.
 Meanwhile,  Laurel unfortunately witnessed the end of their  29-game winning streak dating back to last season on Thursday. They fell just short of West Jones by a score of  56-53. The  game marked the Golden Tornadoes' lowest-scoring  match so far this season.
 Laurel might have lost, but man,  Kayllis Walker was a machine:  she  almost  dropped  a double-double on 20 points and nine  rebounds. That was a full 37.7% of Laurel's points, marking the third time in a row she's   had  more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Zy Evans, who  had 13 points.
 Laurel's loss  ended  a  12-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 5-1. As for Richton, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season.
