Softball Recap: Farragut Find Success

The home team had won the previous six meetings between Farragut and Heritage, and Farragut kept the tradition alive. The Admirals came out on top against the Mountaineers by a score of 5-0 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Admirals: when they faced off against the Mountaineers back in March, they had to take a 6-5 defeat.

The result came thanks to Hallie Grace Johnson's shutout, as she gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elsa Morrison, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last four times she's played.

Farragut's win bumped their record up to 22-7-1. As for Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 19-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Farragut will take on William Blount at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Heritage, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bearden at 5:30 p.m.
