Softball Recap: Statesville Takes a Loss

Statesville fell victim to St. Stephens and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Indians, falling 25-0. The Greyhounds have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Statesville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for St. Stephens, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Statesville will welcome North Iredell at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Greyhounds are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for St. Stephens, they will face off against East Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
