Soccer Recap: Hawthorne Christian Triumphs

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Hawthorne Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent match. Everything went their way against the Eastside Ghosts on Thursday as they made off with a 4-1 win. For Hawthorne Christian, this counts as revenge for the 1-0 victory Eastside walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2016.

Hawthorne Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for Eastside, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hawthorne Christian will head out to square off against Park Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastside, they will venture away from home to face off against Passaic Arts & Science Charter on Saturday.
