Ashland hadn't done well against South Central recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Blue Jays came out on top against the Timberwolves by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Blue Jays: when they faced off against the Timberwolves back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

While Ashland won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-21.
