Basketball Recap: Yoncalla Gets the Win

After losing to New Hope Christian the last time they met, Yoncalla decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Yoncalla Eagles skirted past the New Hope Christian Warriors 52-49.

Yoncalla now has a winning record of 9-8. As for New Hope Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-12.

Yoncalla will look to defend their home court on Friday against Days Creek at 7:30 p.m. Days Creek will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Yoncalla surely won't give up without a fight. As for New Hope Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Umpqua Valley Christian at 7:30 p.m. on February 14th.
