Purchase Line lost to Marion Center back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Red Dragons came out on top against the Stingers by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Dragons.

Purchase Line had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-22, 25-18, 25-12.

Rylee Mahaffey paced Purchase Line's offense, picking up 19 kills. Mahaffey got some help from Bella Cessna and her 38 assists. Kaitlyn Houser controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Purchase Line's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Marion Center, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Coming up, Purchase Line will be playing in front of their home fans against Penns Manor at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Dragons are facing the Comets at the right time seeing as the Comets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Marion Center, they are taking a road trip to challenge West Shamokin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
