Volleyball Recap: Bartow Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bartow lost against Lakeland back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-1 to the Dreadnaughts. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Bartow had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-21, 19-25, 25-21.

Lexi Kemp paced Bartow's offense, picking up ten kills. Kemp got some help from Kaelyn Hall and her 17 assists. Kemp also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Adisyn Pokorowski, each putting up three.

Bartow's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Lakeland, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5.

Bartow didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lake Region on the 30th. As for Lakeland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against McKeel Academy on the 30th.
