Basketball Game Preview: Forest Hills Northern Huskies vs. Schoolcraft Eagles

The Forest Hills Northern Huskies and the Schoolcraft Eagles will compete for holiday cheer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Forest Hills Northern knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Schoolcraft likes a good challenge.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row dating back to last season, Forest Hills Northern turned things around against Coopersville on Saturday. They walked away with a 58-46 win over the Broncos.

Meanwhile, Schoolcraft's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Friday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Parchment an easy 73-51 victory. The loss was the Eagles' first of the season.

Schoolcraft's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-1. As for Forest Hills Northern, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Forest Hills Northern came out on top in a nail-biter against Schoolcraft when the teams last played back in December of 2022, sneaking past 43-41. Does Forest Hills Northern have another victory up their sleeve, or will Schoolcraft turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
