Volleyball Recap: Dryden Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Dryden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Watkins Glen Lake Hawks. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lake Hawks earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Dryden couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Watkins Glen a tough time in the second set. The final score came out to 24-26, 28-30, 25-23, 25-11, 15-7.

When it comes to explaining why Dryden lost, don't look at Emma Deeley. Despite the final result, she had 18 digs and four aces.

Dryden's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Watkins Glen, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Dryden didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Whitney Point on the 16th. As for Watkins Glen, they will take on Edison at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
