Softball Recap: Nelson Takes a Loss

Nelson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Sunset Apollos, falling 14-3.

Nelson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chloe Osborn, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. Abigail Huspek also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Nelson's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Sunset, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nelson will face off against Tigard at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sunset, they will take on Sherwood at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
