While Marquette put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Menominee. The Sentinels put the hurt on the Maroons with a sharp 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Sentinels, who have now won 13 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Charlye Swajanen was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Marquette got a big performance out of Layla Roman, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Halle Haynes was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
