Recap: Weston Ranch Cougars vs. Mission College Prep Royals
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against St. Joseph, the Weston Ranch Cougars were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They blew past Mission College Prep 100-48 on the road. With Weston Ranch ahead 57-28 at the half, the match was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Weston Ranch to victory, but perhaps none more so than Richard Banks, who shot 4-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 assists. Another player making a difference was Izaias White, who scored 21 points along with 3 steals.
Weston Ranch's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Mission College Prep, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Weston Ranch will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Buchtel at 1:30 p.m. on December 18th. As for Mission College Prep, they will be playing at home against Dunn at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
