It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Alcester-Hudson had no problem doing just that on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Deubrook Dolphins a 36-0 shutout. The Cubs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by 33 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Alcester-Hudson and bumps their season record up to 7-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 16 points in those games. As for Deubrook, they dropped their record down to 3-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Alcester-Hudson will challenge Platte/Geddes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Deubrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
