Softball Recap: Shelby Whippets vs. Highland Fighting Scots
Shelby blew Highland out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Highland got their revenge. The Whippets fell just short of the Fighting Scots by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Whippets have suffered since March 29th.
Natalie Kennard and Braylee Sturts did some serious damage despite the final result: Kennard went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run, while Sturts went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
