Sheldon waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They strolled past the Elk Grove Thundering Herd with points to spare, taking the game 61-42. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.
Leading Sheldon to victory were Sebastian James and Baron Sabir. James went 5 for 9 on his way to 14 points in addition to five assists and three blocks, while Sabir went 6 of 10 en route to 19 points. That's the most points Sabir has posted since back in December of 2024. Zion Johnson was another key player, putting up six points and eight rebounds.
Sheldon smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in six consecutive games.
