Culbertson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Carter County Bulldogs 76-40. The Cowboys were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-26.

Culbertson's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ian Snyder, who went 7-for-17 en route to 17 points and four steals, and Plenny Williams, who shot 56% from the field on his way to 10 points. That was a full 42.5% of the Cowboys' points, marking the third time in a row Snyder has posted more than a third of the team's points.

Culbertson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-33 defeat against Plevna on the 13th. As for Carter County, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Baker at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
