Basketball Recap: Lafayette Extends Road Winning Streak to Eight

Lafayette won the last time they faced Bourbon County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lafayette Generals came out on top against the Bourbon County Colonels by a score of 59-46. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Colonels are ranked 120th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lafayette's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-4. As for Bourbon County, they moved to 11-12 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
