Football Recap: Pine Forest Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pine Forest extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-2. They took a blow against the Terry Sanford Bulldogs, falling 42-7. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 43rd).

As for Terry Sanford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 44.0 points this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terry Sanford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jacob Moore, who threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes, and also rushed for 69 yards. Those 241 passing yards gave Moore a new career-high. Isaiah Washington was in the mix as well, providing Terry Sanford with three TDs.
