There's no place like home for Broadwater Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks on Friday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Broadwater Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.

Rylee Hall paced Broadwater Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Hall got some help from Caroline Caison and her 19 assists. Mariah Moore and Lilly Scott kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Broadwater Academy's victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 11-9. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Broadwater Academy will head out to face off against Gateway Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they will venture away from home to challenge Portsmouth Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
