Basketball Recap: Eunice Takes a Loss

Eunice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 23-22 heartbreaker at the hands of the DeRidder Dragons. The Bobcats lost against the Dragons in their previous head to head back in February, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 50-15 score last time.

Eunice's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for DeRidder, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Looking ahead, Eunice will face off against Opelousas at 6:00 p.m. on December 1. As for DeRidder, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pineville at 5:30 p.m. on December 2.
