Despite the loss, Boone Grove still got an impressive performance from Ryder McCoy, who had 39 digs and eight aces. McCoy is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 17 or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Levi McCoy, who had 22 digs and one assist.
Lake Central found their leader in sophomore Brady Cook, who had 27 assists and six digs.
Boone Grove's loss dropped their record down to 24-4. As for Lake Central, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 28-6.
