The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Texas Wind earlier this season, when they won 32-23.

Gloria Deo Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Texas Wind, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-13 record this season.
