Volleyball Recap: Franklin County Tech Takes a Loss

Franklin County Tech came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lenox Memorial Millionaires, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Millionaires this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-16, 25-16.

Lenox Memorial's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grace Julieano, who had 35 assists and six digs. That's the most assists Julieano has posted since back in October. Another player making a difference was Leanne Maschino, who had 11 kills, four digs, three aces, and one block.

Franklin County Tech's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Lenox Memorial, their victory was their 14th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-1.

As of now, neither Franklin County Tech nor the Millionaires have any future games scheduled.
