Soccer Recap: Machias Comes Up Short

Machias was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Bangor Christian Patriots, falling 6-0. Machias were not able to make up for their loss to Bangor Christian from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Machias' defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Bangor Christian, their victory ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Machias is set to take on their familiar foe Woodland at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bangor Christian will square off against rival Narraguagus at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The contest will give Bangor Christian their first taste of in-conference action this season.
