Football Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

After soaring to 36 points the game before, Magnolia was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by the Lakeside Rams and fell 34-6. The Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Walker Carter threw for 58 yards and one touchdown. Kaleb Roach was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Jamaijha Marshall rushed for 40 yards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lakeside to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tremendous Cain, who rushed for 72 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Wally Wolcott, who threw for 220 yards and a pair of TDs.

Magnolia's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Lakeside, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
