Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Nazarene Christian Academy

Nazarene Christian Academy extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Alexander Neal. The Nazarene Christian Academy Lions narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bethesda Christian Lions 34-31 thanks in part to Neal, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 15 boards. His evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Nazarene Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.3 points per game. As for Bethesda Christian, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Nazarene Christian Academy and Bethesda Christian will both be playing Victory Christian Academy the next time they take the court. Nazarene Christian Academy will host Victory Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Bethesda Christian will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
