Baseball Recap: Thomas Dale Comes Up Short

After flying high against Meadowbrook on Thursday, Thomas Dale came back down to earth. The Knights lost 11-1 to the Matoaca Warriors on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Warriors: they've now lost four in a row.

Thomas Dale saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josh Pooler, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Thomas Dale's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Matoaca, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.
