Basketball Recap: Ira Comes Up Short

Ira was the 46-35 winner over Roby when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Ira Bulldogs were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 44-43 to the Roby Lions.

Ira's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Roby, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-8.

Ira will look to defend their home court on Friday against Westbrook at 6:15 p.m. Westbrook's defense has only allowed 28.1 points per game this season, so Ira's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Roby, they will face off against Highland at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Roby is facing Highland at the right time seeing as Highland is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
