Basketball Recap: Wilmot Drops Highest Score of Season Against Langford

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wilmot). They blew past the Langford Lions 74-52 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Despite the loss, Langford still got an impressive performance from Kassen Keough, who went 10 of 20 en route to 30 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Keough is now averaging an impressive 17 points per game. Another player making a difference was Dylan Harmon, who posted six points and 11 rebounds.

Wilmot's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Langford, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Wilmot will be playing in front of their home fans against Ipswich at 7:45 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Langford, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Langford Lions challenge the Burke Cougars at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Langford is facing Burke at the right time seeing as Burke is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
