Cardinal Mooney has gone  a perfect 6-0 against North Port recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. A feisty cat fight will be fought as  the Cougars  face off against  the Bobcats at 7:00  p.m. Cardinal Mooney's pitching crew has only allowed 2.2  runs per game  this season, so North Port's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Last Wednesday, Cardinal Mooney didn't have quite enough to beat Lakewood Ranch and fell  6-5. The loss was the Cougars' first of the season.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart  on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Cardinal Mooney has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 7.2  strikeouts per game. However, it's not like North Port struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 8.2  strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
 Everything went Cardinal Mooney's way against North Port when the teams last played  back in April of 2024, as Cardinal Mooney made off with  an  11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cardinal Mooney since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
