Baseball Game Preview: Cushing Tigers vs. Seminole Chieftains

For the second straight game, Cushing will face off against Seminole. The Tigers will head out to challenge the Chieftains at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cushing will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Cushing had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Seminole on Monday. The Tigers blew past the Chieftains 8-2.

For Seminole's part, Maverick Northrip made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run. That home run was Northrip's first of the season.

Seminole has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 19 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season. As for Cushing, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.
