Softball Recap: Archbishop Alter Comes Up Short

Archbishop Alter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took an 11-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakwood Lumberjacks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lumberjacks this season, with their most recent loss being a 5-2 defeat on Friday.

Archbishop Alter's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Oakwood, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-16.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Alter will challenge Archbishop McNicholas at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Knights are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a five-game losing streak. Oakwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
