Basketball Recap: Stivers School for the Arts Wins Going Away Against Clermont Northeastern

On Saturday, the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers made easy work of the Clermont Northeastern Rockets and carried off a 58-32 win. The Tigers pushed the score to 48-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rockets cut but never quite recovered from.

Stivers School for the Arts' victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Clermont Northeastern, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-7 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Stivers School for the Arts Tigers challenge the Meadowdale Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Clermont Northeastern, they will square off against Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Georgetown has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
