The Upper Dauphin Area Trojans will head out to face off against the Line Mountain Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Upper Dauphin Area is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.

Upper Dauphin Area fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Susquenita on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blackhawks. The Trojans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Upper Dauphin Area saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Conner Wenrich, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Karson Engle, who went 3-for-5 with one run and one double.

Susquenita hit Line Mountain with a five-run fourth inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Blackhawks, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly ten runs.

Upper Dauphin Area's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Line Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.

Upper Dauphin Area skirted past Line Mountain 6-4 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
