Football Recap: Meadowbrook Monarchs vs. Clover Hill Cavaliers
Meadowbrook gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They really took it to the Clover Hill Cavaliers for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-0 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Monarchs had established a 47-point advantage.
Meadowbrook found their leader in sophomore Deshaun Chisem, who threw for 200 yards and five TDs on only 17 passes, and also rushed for 59 yards on only five carries.
