Softball Recap: Wayne Takes a Loss

Wayne's last matchup with Palmyra-Macedon could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Friday. The Eagles lost 7-0 to the Red Raiders. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in April.

Wayne saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zoe Eaton, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Wayne's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-11. As for Palmyra-Macedon, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-8 record.

As of now, neither Wayne nor the Red Raiders have any future games scheduled.
